TOWNSFOLK AND CIVILIAN WORKERS at RUSK TRAIN YARD

The townsfolk that work at the train yard (in Rusk, Texas) should have a classic, dustbowl era look to them. Please bring faded and worn-in clothing (THAT YOU DON'T MIND GETTING DUSTY).

DON'T bring any black, bright white or bright colored wardrobe. No distracting patterns.

Please come WEARING a complete outfit in this style and bring other clothing options. It you are not sure about something, bring it anyways.

 It is better to bring more than less. 

 Bring several choices of the items listed below:

Men-

Shirts- Long Sleeve/ Short Sleeve button front and pearl snap shirts. Casual and work shirt styles, small patterns and plaids are good. Faded t-shirts and long sleeve t-shirts. (NO LOGOS)  The more worn-in the better!!

Jackets- Worn-in and faded barn jackets, denim jackets, anything western cut, carhart/dickies style work jackets.

Pants- faded jeans, casual chinos in neutral or earth tones. 

Shoes- faded and worn-in work or cowboy boots.

Belts- worn-in flat or tooled leather, western buckles, fabric belts also

Hats- if you have a worn-in cowboy hat please bring it.

Women-

Dresses- knee length, ankle length, casual day dresses. Pattens are great, as long as it isn't too busy or distracting.

Skirts- faded and worn-in skirts, knee length or ankle length.

Jackets- worn-in casual. Blazers and denim are good.

Coats- knee length or three quarter length classic design

Sweaters- cardigans, wraps, shawls.

Shirts- Anything old looking, worn-in cotton blouses, long-sleeve button fronts. Simple t-shirts NO LOGOS

Pants- faded jeans or chinos in earth colors.

Shoes-  knee length boots, ankle boots, cowboy boots, simple flats.

Flashback Party ep.219

The party scene that takes place on Thursday is a flashback to 2005. It is located in a backyard and occurs during Spring.

Please bring casual attire with light layers, such as sweaters and light weight jackets.

Don't bring anything white, bright colored, or with distracting patterns. 

Bring several options of each article of clothing, enough to create multiple head-to-toe outfits.

MEN

Top half- bring crew-neck t-shirts, Long Sleeve causal button ups, casual sweaters, hoodies, jackets.

Bottom half- distressed and broken-in, darker wash jeans. Chino or casual pants.

Shoes- casual sneakers and boots

Accessories- beanie hats, fedoras, black framed glasses, casual jewelry on leather cord. leather arm bands, aviator sunglasses.

WOMEN

Top half- midriff shirts, tank tops, halter tops, rocker t-shirts, off-the-sholder blouses, cowboy shirts, tie-front sweaters, Vintage blazers.

Bottom half - low-rise jeans, capri pants, cargo pants, peasant skirts, asymmetrical skirts, denim skirts, mini skirts.

Shoes- sneakers, boots, cowboy boots, espadrilles, flats, Ugg boots.

Accessories- Bohemian style jewelry, pageboy hats, fedoras, aviator sunglasses, boho purses.

Willoughby Townsfolk in Austin

We are missing shoes on a handful of costumes so if everyone could please bring an additional shoe option, that will work with your costume, we'd greatly appreciate it.

This episode takes place during the winter months and since many of the Willoughby costumes were put together in the summer, we'd like you to wear an additional layer.
If you have anything in your personal wardrobe that is appropriate for the Willoughby/Austin look, please bring it.

Texas Dignitaries/Officials

The Texas Dignitaries should wear suits or blazer with tie.

Please bring any of the following that you may have in your wardrobe (THAT YOU DON'T MIND GETTING DUSTY)

Suit- three piece or two piece. older styles are ok. We'd prefer grey and earth tones but if you have a faded black one, please bring it to the fitting also.
Blazer- classic or western cut. Interesting fabric textures are great.
Long sleeve button front Shirts- neutral or earth tones. Nothing Bright white. Simple textures and patterns are good.
Ties- bring ties with classic/conservative patterns in earth tones. Maroon and subdued blues and yellows are ok too.
Belts- leather dress belts and anything with a western buckle
Shoes- worn-in dress shoes and cowboy boots. Blacks and browns are good.
Hat- If you have any cowboy hats, please bring them.

Austin Townfolk

The Austin Townfolk should have a classic, dustbowl era look to them. Bring faded and worn-in clothing (THAT YOU DON'T MIND GETTING DUSTY). Vintage pieces are great also.
This episode takes place during the winter months, so bring layering options.
